Prizes

A week of meetings with eight industry professionals and one year on the ISA Development Slate, with consultation and industry partner access.

Judging

Two writers are selected per season, leading to a week of eight executive meetings and Development Slate placement.

The PreList verdict

Fast Track's prize is access rather than money, and taken on those terms it holds up. The two fellows get eight one-on-one meetings with producers, managers and executives, a year of development guidance from ISA's development team, and twelve months of ISAConnect. Eight real meetings is more direct industry traction than most contests deliver at any price.

The honest part: the fee ladder funds a membership platform, and the economics are tilted that way; members enter cheaper, and the biggest prizes go to exactly two people per season. The six category winners take US$500, which barely covers the late-tier fee. Treat any placement below fellow as a nudge of encouragement, not a credential.

It runs twice a year, spring and fall, on separate pages of the ISA site, which trips people up. The fall 2026 season is open now and closes on 30 July at US$79 (US$69 for ISAConnect members), with fellows announced on 22 October.

Enter if what your career lacks is rooms and you have a polished feature or pilot to carry into them. Skip it if you are pre-rep and pre-polish, because the meetings only pay off when the script is ready to be sent.
