The PreList

Agents and producers directory · 2026

Production companies.

Production companies rarely say no on their websites; they say nothing, which writers read as maybe. Each entry here records what the company actually does with unsolicited work, checked against its own pages and dated.

Where a door is open or takes queries, the listing says what to send and how. Where it is closed, it says what gets a script through anyway.

23 organisations, each with its door state and the date it was verified.

Questions writers ask about production companies

How many production companies are listed?

23 at the last count, each checked against the organisation's own pages and dated; the newest verification is 25 August 2026. Organisations are researched and added in verified batches.

Which of these doors can a writer actually use?

0 are open to submissions, 3 take query letters only, and 1 runs submission windows. The rest are reachable via representation or closed to unsolicited work, and each listing says what gets a script through anyway.

How current is this?

Every entry shows the date its door state was last verified. Doors a writer can act on are rechecked most often and flagged on the page once they pass three weeks; the page tells you to confirm on the official site before acting if a stamp gets old.
