How to approach
Introduce yourself, do not submit. Their representation page asks screenwriters to email an introduction with an up-to-date CV, and separately asks people not to post hard copies of scripts, showreels or photographs because they cannot respond to them or send them back.
So the email is the whole approach. Say who you are, what you write, what is finished and what has happened to it, and let the CV carry the credits. Individual agents' lists open and close, and at the last check one of theirs was noted as closed, so treat the agency rather than a particular name as the addressee.
The PreList verdict
Who this is for: Australian screen and stage writers looking for representation, and writers elsewhere with a genuine reason to be represented in that market. The ask is small, which makes this one of the lower-cost approaches in the directory.
Who should skip it: anyone hoping to get a script read on the first contact. This is an introduction rather than a submission, and sending the screenplay anyway ignores the one instruction they give.
Their note about hard copies is worth reading as guidance rather than irritation. Posting an unrequested script costs you postage and puts the agency in the position of having material it did not ask for and cannot return.
