How to approach

Follow the format exactly, because it is the whole test. Their contact page asks for a query by email with the logline in the body of the message and no attachments, so a mail with a PDF stapled to it fails before anyone reads the idea.

That means the logline is doing all the work. Give it the hook, the lead, and what is at stake, in a couple of sentences, and put a line under it saying what the script is and that it is finished. Material aimed at their INSPIRE strand should say INSPIRE in the subject line. Writer-directors may add a bio and links to reels or films. They are open that they only reply to the ones that fit, so treat silence as a pass rather than an invitation to chase.

The PreList verdict

Who this is for: writers with a finished, genuinely commercial script and a logline that can carry it on its own. Zero Gravity is one of the few companies at this level to publish a route in for an unrepresented writer, and the route is refreshingly specific: an email, a logline, no attachments.

Who should skip it: anyone whose pitch needs a paragraph of setup before it lands, and anyone sending a first draft. A logline-only door rewards concept clarity above everything, and there is no second look if the one line does not work.

Read the no-reply policy as information rather than rudeness. They say plainly that they answer only the queries that fit, which is more honest than a promise of feedback nobody could keep at that volume. Send it, note the date, and get on with the next thing.

Frequently asked questions

Does Zero Gravity Management accept queries from unrepresented writers?

Yes. Their contact page invites screenplay queries for film and television by email, with a logline in the body of the message and no attachments.

Can you attach your script?

No. Their guidance says no attachments. Send the logline in the body of the email and wait to be asked for the script.

Will they reply?

Not necessarily. They state they receive many enquiries and can only respond to the ones they feel are a good fit, so no reply is a pass.
