How to approach

Their stated policy is broader than most, and the difference matters. They accept script submissions via recognised literary or talent agents, from industry professionals with a proven track record, or from people with whom they already have a working relationship.

That second route is the one worth noticing. A producer or executive with real credits can put your script in front of them without you being represented, which is a genuinely different proposition from an agent-only door. If you have worked with someone who fits that description, the ask is theirs to make.

One practical warning: the company's site is the hyphenated see-saw-films.com. A similarly named unhyphenated domain belongs to a different company entirely.

The PreList verdict

Who this is for: represented writers, and unrepresented writers with a credible industry advocate. The second group has a real path here that most production companies do not offer.

Who should skip it: writers with no agent and no industry contact who could vouch for the work. The policy is generous by the standards of this list but it still needs somebody to carry the script in.
